INET Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria for INET is different for different posts. For some posts, both male and female candidates can apply. While some posts are open for only female or male candidates. INET eligibility criteria for executive, education, and technical branches are given below.

 

Educational Qualification

Executive Branch	BE/B Tech/ MBA / BSc / BCom / BSc.(IT)/MCA / MSc (IT) with minimum 60% marks. Candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in class 10 and 12. Moreover, candidates must have secured 60% marks in English in class 10 and 12.
Technical Branch	BE/B Tech with a minimum of 60%
Education Branch	MSc/MA/BE/B Tech with a minimum 60%. Candidates applying for the education entry must have scored a minimum of 60% in Class 10 and 12 as well as in English.

 

Medical Standards

All candidates recommended by SSB will have to undergo medicals. There is no relaxation in medical standards on any ground.

Relaxation in height and weight

Relaxation in height and weight is given to candidates holding domicile of specific regions.

INET Selection Process

The complete selection process of INET is explained below.

INET apply online

The application form will be released soon. Interested candidates are required to fill and submit their applications online. 

Shortlisting of application form

Shortlisting of application will be based on the preference of entries and normalized marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree. 

SSB Interview

Approximately 8,300 candidates will be shortlisted for SSB Interview. The SSB Interview will be conducted. The SSB Interview is conducted in two stages. Candidates who clear Stage 1 will go to Stage 2.

Medical

Candidates recommended for SSB are required to undergo a medical examination. Candidates for Pilot entry are required to undergo PABT (Pilot aptitude battery test) followed by Aviation medical examination.

Merit List & Appointment Letter

 Merit list is prepared based on the combined marks of SSB and medical. Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit will be appointed for training.
